Oh shop assistants, how I love you all.

Me, my dad and my brother all went shopping yesterday, deciding that hey it's winter time, some retail therapy would be nice.See, like many others I enjoy going out and buying clothes and shoes etc etc. But honestly, the highlight of all my shopping trips are usually the staff in the store trying to convince me to buy something. Yes, I know, I know it's there job and whatnot, but some of the things they say or do to get you to make a purchase is undoubtedly hilarious.
Now I thought I'd replay a conversation in a store I had with a staff member of an overly priced store yesterday whilst I was looking around. 

Staff member: Hi there, how are you doing today?
Me: Oh pretty good thanks and you?
Staff member: Oh yes, good. Do you need help with anything?
Me: No, no, just  browsing thanks.
*staff member goes behind the counter to do whatever she's doing whilst I look at the sale items. The staff member leaves the counter and approaches me with a puffy jacket which contains a heap of faux fur, leather, and unnecessary sparkles, it's something London Tipton from The Suite Life would wear.*

Staff member: I feel like this would suit you, it came in a couple days ago.

Me:  Oh er, thanks but it's okay
Staff member: No, no I insist *takes jacket off coat hanger*

-now me being unsure of how to react took off my jumper so I could try on this completely over the top jacket which I was not interested in at  all
Staff member: Ohhhhh It's beautiful don't you just love it?
Me: Yeah, it's lovely, but I don't really think..
Staff member: Oh so you'll take it? 
Me: Umm. No, I was just going to say..
Staff member: So you made me grab this jacket for you to try on, without even the slightest interest in purchasing it? *storms off*

Okay, so after this happened I left the store and just laughed uncontrollably I had no idea how else to react. And then me and my family went to get some burgers and to buy some affordable (and not totally ridiculous) clothes. I bought two jackets as picture below:

So overall pretty lovely night & I plan to go thrift store shopping on the weekend! YAY! Have a lovely day/night/wheneveryou'rereadingthis.
